Bopa was invited by Destination Uppsala to create a 7 min video mapping piece on Upplandsmuseets facade to be played for two weeks during evenings at Uppsala Light Festival 2018. The brief was to somehow relate the work to the 100 years of Ingmar Bergman celebration. Spending a couple of months immersed into the world of Bergmans films we found some intriguing recurring themes which became the basis of the installation. It became apparent that it was important for us to portray his depth and raw morbid side in our installation.
